May the Force of Nature be With You BIOBLITZ⚡

Monty says go!!

Coming soon:

Bioblitz adventure at Speke Garston Coastal Reserve

WE all know what a terrific site this is, now's our chance to prove it, let's record everything that lives/migrates there, let's make  sure everyone knows why this place is special and has to be preserved for future generations.
Kicking off Friday 13th May then running all day Saturday everyone from budding scientists to curious bods can take part in an event designed to show people the vast array of intriguing wildlife that exists right on their doorstep.
The activities will include mammal and moth trapping, bat, insect, bug, butterfly, plant and bird surveying.
Get involved! The event starts Friday midday
The event is being co-ordinated and  run in association with Lancashire Wildlife Trust, Liverpool JMU, L Botanical Society, Liverpool World Museum and Merseyside Biobank.

So if you think you would like to volunteer and do the surveys?  or just want to observe?
Head to the estuary.
Just turn up and take part in whatever you like. But stay on the paths, wouldn't want any critters trampled underfoot!
There will be a base station for volunteers and staff at the sailing club, toilets, food and drinks provided.
Parking at the sailing club for volunteers.
